At Marist, Perusall can be integrated into our learning management system, Brightspace, providing a collaborative platform that promotes active engagement with digital content through annotation, commenting, and questioning. This integration allows instructors to seamlessly create opportunities for engaging activities such as collaborative discussion directly into their course materials. 

Perusall offers a range of interactive features that help students engage more deeply with assigned readings. Users can highlight passages, post questions, and participate in threaded discussions, either in real time or asynchronously. The platform also provides analytics, such as reading time and annotation activity which helps instructors understand how students are interacting with the material and where additional support may be needed.
