What really drew me to Marist was the professors and class sizes. After multiple visits (my older brother graduated from Marist when I was a freshman), I had the opportunity to meet multiple professors and one thing was very clear: they genuinely care about their students. I knew in my college search that I did not want to be just another student in a lecture hall of 500 students. At Marist, I feel completely comfortable calling, emailing, and visiting my professors' office hours anytime I have a question or just want to catch up.
Fall of my junior year I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Needless to say, it was the best experience of my life. I was able to live and travel with my best friends for four months all throughout Europe. My favorite trips were to the Amalfi Coast, Oktoberfest, and London.
On campus, I am a tour guide and heavily involved with working for the Athletics Department. Both are really great experiences through which have met great people and learned valuable skills.
Throughout my time at Marist, I have had multiple internships with important companies: Connecticut Insurance & Financial Services, Prudential, and S&P. I am extremely grateful that I was given and have accepted a full-time position after my senior year to work for S&P Global as a credit analyst in New York City. It is relieving that my hard work and dedication throughout the past three years have paid off with a job before starting senior year.
