Zoom AI Companion is now available within the Marist Zoom Workplace, offering a suite of intelligent tools designed to handle time consuming administrative tasks. As a built-in smart assistant, it automatically generates meeting summaries and organizes action items, allowing students and faculty to focus on meaningful collaboration rather than note taking.  

 Some new features of Zoom AI like the new Writing Mode can instantly transform a recorded classroom discussion or departmental meetings into a polished document, such as an assignment draft or a structured syllabus update. Additionally, the Meeting Coach feature within Smart Recordings now provides private feedback on presentation pace and talk-time, offering faculty a data-driven way to refine their instructional delivery. Department heads can also leverage automated task management to turn meeting summaries into actionable "To-Do" lists that sync across the Zoom platform. 

While the AI Companion 3.0 offers powerful automation, users are encouraged to review all generated drafts for accuracy before they are finalized. Hosts remain in full control of the experience and can use the "Stop Summary" or "Stop Recording" buttons at any time during a live session to ensure that sensitive or confidential discussions remain private and are not processed by the AI.
