Every speaker was excellent. And better still, they were all approachable. I had a nice chat with the President afterwards.”

Marist was buzzing during its first two Admitted Student Days in March, which drew over 1,000 people to campus. Admitted students connected with future classmates, gained candid advice from current students, rang the admission bell as proud members of the Class of 2030, toured residence halls, and began imagining life at Marist.

Professors share why they love Admitted Student Days:

One of the most valuable aspects of Admitted Student Days is the opportunity to connect with Marist faculty, who engage with students during a wide range of academic presentations and throughout campus.

“Admitted Student Days are rewarding events for faculty, giving us the opportunity to connect with students and help shape their futures—from choosing a college to preparing for a career,” said Brian Haughey, Associate Professor of Finance. “Over the years, many students have told me they decided to attend Marist after visiting the Investment Center and learning about our finance program’s strong focus on experiential learning and career readiness.”

“The energy at our recent Admitted Students Days was truly incredible,” added Rebecca Brown, Fashion Department Chair. “The thoughtful questions, the excitement throughout the Steel Plant, and the moment when students chose to commit after experiencing our community firsthand show just how special the Marist Fashion experience truly is.”
