Marist University Named to The Princeton Review's List of Best Colleges in Nation

September 8, 2026 -- Marist University has been named to The Princeton Review's Best 392 Colleges list, the annual guide to the top colleges and universities in the nation.
The recognition marks another year that Marist appeared among The Princeton Review's top-ranked schools nationwide, reflecting the University's academic programs, and commitment to community and student career outcomes.
In addition to being featured on the main list, Marist was also recognized in two additional categories: "Colleges that Create Futures" and the best colleges in the Northeast region.
"Marist has consistently earned recognition from The Princeton Review, and this year's recognition reinforces Marist's standing as one of the leading private universities in the region,” said Sean Kaylor, Vice President for Enrollment Management.
The Princeton Review's Best Colleges rankings are based on survey responses from students attending the featured schools, covering topics such as academics, campus life, financial aid, and overall satisfaction. The "Colleges that Create Futures" list specifically highlights schools that prepare students for post-graduate success through experiential learning and career preparation.
“The University has also drawn recent national attention for initiatives including its Applied Artificial Intelligence minor and its $100 million Science and Health Initiative,” said Kaylor. “Both reflect Marist’s ongoing investment in preparing students for evolving academic and career fields.”
