Katherine Whitman

New YorkA Hudson River Valley native, Katherine Whitman knew that Marist’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) would be a beneficial program from the beginning. Said Whitman, “One of the highlights of my experience in the DPT program was having faculty who were more than willing to spend the time necessary to ensure our understanding and learning.” Examples of professors who have influenced Whitman’s time in the DPT program are Professor Fineman and Dr. Rauh. “They have been supportive and caring, while also having a great enthusiasm for the subject matter.”
Whitman’s advice for potential graduate students? “Be open-minded and ready to work a lot harder than you probably ever have academically.”
