Marist University provides Watermark as the university's official course experience survey platform. Watermark is a higher education software solution designed to collect, manage, and analyze student feedback in a streamlined and accessible way. The tool integrates directly with Brightspace, Marist's learning management system, making it a seamless part of the existing academic experience for both students and faculty. When a course experience survey becomes available, students receive an email notification to their Marist account that includes details about the evaluation along with a direct link and instructions for completing it.
Watermark's Brightspace integration allows students to complete surveys without navigating a separate system. Students simply follow the link in their notification email and respond to a set of questions about their course experience, giving them a direct role in shaping the quality of instruction at Marist. Faculty gain access to detailed reports once evaluations close, including aggregated responses, open-ended comments, and results across multiple sections or semesters. Department chairs and administrators can also draw on this data to inform curriculum planning and meet accreditation documentation requirements.
Student feedback plays an important role in the continuous improvement of academic programs at Marist, and Watermark provides a reliable and consistent way to gather feedback each semester. For questions or help accessing a survey, contact Digital Education.
