Cisco AnyConnect offers a secure and seamless way for users to connect to private networks from virtually anywhere. Marist relies on it to provide encrypted VPN access for students, faculty, staff, and approved contractors, ensuring that off‑campus users can safely reach campus systems after logging in with verified credentials.  
 
When connecting, users authenticate through the Cisco Secure Client interface, accept the institution’s usage policies, and establish a protected session to the designated network gateway. This streamlined process helps maintain data security even when users are connecting through personal devices or external networks.
