An Interdisciplinary Digital Video Production Curriculum

The Digital Video Production Minor is housed within the Film, TV, Games, and Interactive Media Department, but it is completely interdisciplinary, which means that students from any major can integrate the minor into their studies. You’ll take classes that help you hone your eye and skills in digital video production, including:

Showcase What You've Learned

Frequently, art students of all kinds are Marist are given the opportunity to feature their work in our Steel Plant Exhibition gallery, as well as the Silver Fox Awards and other competitions on campus. Collaborate with students from a variety of majors, engage in digital video production with a team in a hands-on environment, and show off what you’ve learned as a student here at Marist.

Dan Amernick

Dr. Dan Amernick is a Senior Professional Lecturer of Media Arts, teaching Screenwriting for Film & Television and Advanced Screenwriting for Film & Television. Prior to teaching, Amernick worked for a number of years in the entertainment industry, notably on the writing staff of the CBS sitcom The Nanny.

Jessica Crawford

Jessica is a Professional Lecturer of Media Arts at Marist, as well as a a video and media designer, filmmaker, editor, and producer. Jessica's professional work outside of teaching has included designing and engineering video and interactive experiences for performances, installations, augmented and virtual reality experiences, as well as directing, shooting and editing experimental shorts, documentary, short narrative films and music videos. 

Jaqueline Reich

Dr. Jacqueline Reich is Professor of Film, Television, and Media Arts and President of the American Association of Italian Studies. She is also Co-PI of the oral history project, the Bronx Italian American History Initiative and member of the Editorial Board of L’avventura.International Journal of Italian Cinema and Media Landscapes.
