The 12th Annual Mid-Hudson Regional Business Plan Competition

The 12th annual Mid-Hudson Regional Business Plan Competition was hosted at Marist College, on Friday, April 5, 2024. The top two winning teams in each track at the regional competitions will have the opportunity to compete in the NYBPC finals, which are judged in three rounds, first round asynchronous judging, then in-person for the 2nd round and 3rd round in the New York Business Plan Competition Finals on April 25, 2024.
New York State Competition: Held over three elimination rounds in April 2024.

- Food & Agtech: Agricultural Technology, Food Product, Food Service
- Health & Wellbeing: Health IT, Life Science, Medtech, Wellbeing
- Learn, Work & Live: Education, Community Building, Productivity, Fintech
- Safety, Power & Mobility: Defense, Energy, Climate Tech, First Responder, Infrastructure, Mobility, Transportation
- Products & Hardware: Business plans don’t fall into other tracks
- Software & Services: Business plans don’t fall into other tracks
In addition to basic contact information, and an executive summary (needed when applying to determine eligibility to compete), you will need a pitch video and presentation slide deck submitted for judges to review before the April 5, 2024 event. Deadlines for all materials will be posted on the website.

IMPORTANT DATES and DEADLINES:
· Student Applications for the MHRBPC are closed.
· Requirements: To compete in the Mid-Hudson Regional Business Plan Competition, student team applications and submissions must be submitted by the required deadline. Students should be prepared to present live and answer judges Q & A on April 5, 2024. Preliminary Judging: Judges will review submissions prior to the final competition.
Competition Day: April 5, 2024, MHRBP Competition held at Marist College, Student Center.
Be prepared to present live and answer judges Q & A.
State Competition: The top two teams from each track will move onto the statewide finals. For the state final calendar, click here.
Students who move onto Round Two of the state finals are required to attend the in-person event in order to compete.
Attending the NYBPC finals is a great way to advance your business, meet people, check out the competition, and continue to build your venture. Everyone is welcome to attend and take advantage of the Startup Showcase, workshops, mentoring and much more.
