Meeting Times

On Ice Practice:

Marist Ice Hockey practices at the McCann Ice Arena located less than two miles from campus. The on-ice practices occur twice per week for 90 minutes. Practices normally take place on Mondays and Thursdays. On-ice practices are led by our coaches and a typical practice consists of a warmup, complete drills, systems work.

Team Lift:

Marist Ice Hockey is able to use the newly renovated team weight room in the James J. McCann Center in order to progress off the ice. A typical team lift session is for one hour and is structured around keeping the players' strength and mobility at a high level. These practices occur five days per week and have made a large impact on the players. Captains lead the team through workouts not only to continue our growth as players but also to build stronger team camaraderie.

Games:

Marist Ice Hockey plays a competitive schedule in the Division 2 American Collegiate Hockey Association and the Super East Collegiate Hockey League. The team normally has two games per weekend one on Friday night and one on Saturday. This may vary but, the games are a typical three-period game with an ice cut in between every period.
