I have been a Hudson Valley resident my entire life and as you can see above a two time graduate of Marist College. Prior to joining Marist College as the DIrector of Field Education in the fall of 2011, I had been an adjunct professor since 1995 here in the social work program and served on the Social Work Advisory Board for many years. I have spent my career working in the field of social work in various capacities and agencies. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work in child welfare, geronotology, medical social work, private practice, in the criminal justice system and for the NYS Office of People with Developmental Disabilities.  I  am currently completing my doctorate at SUNY Albany in the School of Social Welfare with my dissertation focusing on students' application of classroom learning in their field education practicums.  Additionally, my career has afforded me with opportunities to work as a representative in a statewide professional union both at the local and statewide levels.
