Christian D. Heasley
Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Psychology
Bio
Dr. Heasley is an educator, counselor, and researcher with extensive experience in both K-12 and postsecondary education. Before graduating from the CACREP-accredited SAHE program at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, Chris taught music at the elementary and secondary levels. In student affairs, he held positions in residence life, community engagement, and student activities. Dr. Heasley is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor (NBCC), and Licensed School Counselor. He has worked professionally as a mobile crisis counselor, outpatient therapist, college mental health counselor, and elementary school counselor.
