Operation 24

Operation 24 is a program designed to allow prospective Cadets to experience what it is like to be an Army ROTC Cadet at Marist College. Students will spend 24 hours at Marist College and participate in Military Science Class, ROTC lab, physical training, campus social events, interview with professors in their intended academic major, and receive a briefing about the ROTC Scholarship process. Students will stay overnight with one of our Cadets.

1800-1830 Check in/ Arrival 0615-0715 PT 
1830-1900 Parents Brief and Host Assignment 0715-0800 Breakfast
1900-2000 Dinner at Dining Hall 0800-0900 Hygiene, change, move gear out of dorm
2000-2130 Movie 0915-1230 Leadership Lab
2130-2200 Move to dorm rooms, hygiene 1215-1300 MRE Lunch
2300 Lights out 1300-1500 Military Science Class
    1530-1645  Class Slot A, Dinner in Dining hall afterwards
    1700-1845 Class Slot B, Dinner in Dining hall before
    1845-1915 AAR and dismissal

Students must be 16 or older to participate. Students under 18 require parental permission. Registration is limited and is available on a first come, first serve basis. For more information contact Dave Rogers at (845) 575-3000 x 2591 or david.rogers1@marist.edu   

Over 25 students that participated in this program received Army ROTC Scholarship offers.


New Cadet Orientation

New Cadet Orientation 2018: TBD

New Cadet Orientation is mandatory for all new Cadets. Schedule will be updated when orientation dates are determined.

Cadets must be enrolled in 12 credits or more for Fall 2018.
