Student Engagement & Success Classroom & Collaboration Administrative & Data Systems
October 1, 2025
Marist provides Microsoft 365 Apps to the Marist community access to the same professional tools used in today’s workplaces. Through Microsoft, the platform includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive in a secure, cloud-connected environment. Instructors can create and share course materials, collaborate with colleagues, and collect student work efficiently, while students can access files across devices, work on group projects in real time, and keep everything organized in one place. Automatic saving and version history help prevent lost work and reduce confusion when collaborating.
For teaching and learning, Microsoft 365 supports a streamlined workflow between Brightspace and classroom collaboration tools. Faculty can distribute templates, share lecture slides, and facilitate group assignments using shared OneDrive folders. Students benefit from consistent access to course files, collaborative editing, and familiar productivity tools that prepare them for internships and post-graduate careers.
Together, these features create a more connected, efficient digital learning experience for the Marist community.
