October 7, 2025 — Marist has once again been listed on the prestigious Wall Street Journal/College Pulse ranking of the best U.S. Colleges.
The ranking focuses first and foremost on students’ financial success after graduation, and assesses how strongly colleges and universities prepare students to excel in their careers.
“More than any other factor, it rewards the boost an institution provides to its graduates’ salaries, beyond an estimate of what they could have expected from attending any college,” The Wall Street Journal notes in the summary of its rankings.
Marist is one of 500 schools to make the list, which also considers factors such as quality of teaching and feedback, career preparation, learning facilities, and how likely students are to recommend the school to a friend. The data is compiled based on a survey of about 120,000 students and alumni.
“Marist’s focus on career preparedness is a crucial part of our broader commitments to academic vibrancy and student centrality, and a cornerstone of what makes our graduates competitive and successful,” said Sean Kaylor, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “We’re glad to see that The Wall Street Journal has once again recognized Marist as a place where students get the educational and experiential foundations they need to prosper personally, financially, and professionally.”
