Applying for Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) serves as the official application for federal financial aid at Marist College. To ensure adequate processing time, we recommend that you file your FAFSA as per the deadline below, online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
The 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available as of Oct. 1, 2021, using Prior-Prior Year Tax Information.
The following chart provides a summary of the FAFSA timeframe and tax information you will need to use to complete the application. In addition, you may visit the official Department of Education website for information on how financial works, applying for aid, and managing your student loans.

IRS Data Retrieval:
The Department of Education has enhanced the FAFSA filing process to allow tax data to be retrieved directly from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will allow the filed federal tax return data to be uploaded directly to the FAFSA. If you haven’t already done so, we strongly encourage you to use this tool as it is the fastest, most secure way to provide verified tax information.
Early Decision Applicants
Early Decision I and Early Decision II are binding admission programs which require a deposit. The Early Decision I deposit deadline is February 15 and the Early Decision II deposit deadline is March 1.
Applicants seeking federal financial aid are required to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA can be found at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and is available October 1, 2021.

The priority deadline for completion of the FAFSA is November 15, 2021, and the school code is 002765. The Early Action deposit deadline is May 1.

The priority deadline for completion of the FAFSA is January 1, 2022, and the school code is 002765. The Regular Decision deposit deadline is May 1.

International Applicants
The CSS PROFILE is required for all International Applicants seeking need-based institutional aid. Please note, the college is unable to provide full scholarships.
