The First-Year Dublin Experience
The First-Year Dublin Experience
Start your Marist journey in Dublin, Ireland where history meets innovation. You’ll stay fully on track with your degree exploring major, minor, and core courses, while living in one of the most beautiful and charismatic cities in Europe. Dublin turns every day into a learning experience. This full-year program offers a wide variety of courses in business, liberal arts, psychology, technology, and communications. Rooted in environmental awareness and community engagement, the First-Year Dublin Experience (FDE) program features Big Zero, a unique Carbon Literacy & Action micro-credential. With the city as your classroom and supportive staff, it empowers students to thrive anywhere.
Plus, all enrolled First-Year Abroad students are considered for a one-year $5,000 scholarship to support their international experience.
“Leaving my West Coast home as a first-generation student to study in Dublin was my scariest dream come true. The First-year Dublin Experience at Marist proved to be a supportive community that erased any fear I had. From the coziness of our residence buildings and the friendships kindled through shared activities, the students here don't just find comfort in our surroundings, but a profound connection with each other. Choosing this journey was the right choice, one I never imagined, but now cherish. To my fellow students, embrace the unknown, it's where your most extraordinary experiences start."
