The First-Year Dublin Experience
Dublin Program Student Life
Students will live in contemporary fully furnished apartments just north of the River Liffey in central Dublin. Apartments are a 25-30 minute walk from campus. Each student will have their own en-suite bathroom, as well as access to a workspace, storage for clothes, laundry, and fitness facility in the building; a 24/7 staffed reception desk, and in-house Resident Assistants. Students will have kitchens and will be responsible for cooking for themselves. There is no meal plan offered for the FDE.
There is also a lot to do in the city and neighboring areas. FDE students will have access to sponsored cultural activities around Dublin and Ireland. Whether it’s attending rugby events, theatre, or local concerts, it is very difficult to be bored in this incredible city.
One of the distinguishing factors of the FDE is the ability to meet Irish students. FDE participants will live and learn with other Irish students. Students will benefit from the unique opportunity to culturally integrate with Irish students, international students, and other American study abroad students from around the United States.
