Integrated Marketing Communication

Networking and Career Development Service

What are the IMC Networking and Career Placement Opportunities?

Marist College's goal is to ensure graduates of the Master's in Integrated Marketing Communication program are successful in their career endeavors. This is done by providing services and networking events to students outside the classroom. Marist Career Development Services can match IMC students with prospective employers and help students develop the necessary career skills while they are pursuing their marketing graduate degree.

Integrated Marketing and Communication Internships Opportunities

Internships are an important part of the IMC graduate school hands-on experience. Many times, internships can lead to a career within the selected company. As internship opportunities appear on FoxQuest, the Marist community career site, they are posted online for IMC graduate students to apply to as they see fit. Similarly, career opportunities are posted after appearing on FoxQuest. Prospective IMC graduate students can get an idea of the types of positions that will be available to them through their graduate experience.

Career Counseling for IMC Graduates

The Marist College Office of Career Services provides Integrated Marketing Communication students assistance with career counseling even after graduation. Students can stay a part of the FoxQuest network or check employment listings that are posted. Also available are networking events hosted by the college where students and alumni can meet with potential employers to discuss career possibilities within respective companies. These events are held on the main campus in Poughkeepsie, NY and throughout the country. Online students who cannot reach one of the events are able to attend via online networking hosted by the School of Communication & the Arts, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs Office.

Extended Career Integrated Marketing Communication Services

The Integrated Marketing Communication advisory board has many professionals who are willing to take the time to help students and offer advice for their professional aspirations. On campus career services will even help draft cover letters and resumes, practice interviewing, and set up a reference file to make graduate students career hunt that much easier.

These professional services offered to students make a difference in the quality of the IMC program and allow students to develop professionally beyond classroom walls.
