A Schedule for the Working Professional

Part-Time

The part-time online IMC degree curriculum is ideal for professionals with busy careers who are looking to earn their master’s degree on a flexible schedule. Students who enroll in the Fall Semester are expected to complete their degree within two years and are allotted up to five years to complete the course requirements.

Full-Time

The full-time online IMC degree is ideal for students looking to earn their master's degree through an accelerated schedule and advance their careers in the IMC field. Students who enroll in the Fall Semester can complete their studies within as little as one year. Following the recommended course sequences, students can expect to complete the degree in three to four semesters.

The faculty within the IMC program are incredibly diverse. They have a wealth of knowledge that has allowed me to see all the ways the IMC degree can be applied to various roles within the marketing industry. Throughout my time as a student, they have always been available to answer questions and provide meaningful feedback that I can apply to real-life situations.
The IMC program has helped me keep my eyes open to what other brands are doing, and stay aware of industry trends and famous case studies. It’s easy to keep your head down and focus in on your day-to-day at work, but the Marist IMC program has kept me alert with new approaches and strategies that I can implement at work.
Marist has equipped me with the tools I need to feel empowered to do my job to the best of my ability. I have transferred these tools over to my current job as the marking and publications officer at the New Mexico State University Foundation, where I manage all of the communication and marketing efforts of the foundation.
The best experience as a student at Marist has been working with a cohort of bright and talented individuals. During the program, I have had the opportunity to meet (virtually) many dedicated students from all walks of life. Interacting with a diverse group of people is the very foundation of being a marketer. Group projects within the IMC program have challenged me and allowed me the ability to teach and learn from others.

That investment paid off, and I cherish our interactions and the opportunity to learn together. At Marist, we have very small, close-knit cohort sizes that allow for these personal connections to be made.
The IMC faculty was super supportive from day one. Student Financial Services was very accommodating in providing the best financing options so that I was not burdened financially as a working parent, which made it possible to complete the program in a timely manner. The professors were great, and the online community and connections made it much easier to manage coursework and receive the resources I needed to be successful.
