Management Department
Management Department
DR. KEN SLOAN, Chairperson
The Department of Management represents those areas inside the organization and includes the following classes: Introduction to Business and Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Operations Management and Leadership.
In accordance with the Marist mission, the Department of Management is dedicated to helping students develop the intellect, character, and skills required for enlightened, ethical, and productive lives in the global community of the 21st century. We accomplish this goal by taking a personal interest in our students and providing them with the knowledge and skills to be effective future business leaders. Not only has our faculty successfully published in top journals, but many bring very successful industry experience to the classroom. Last year, Entrepreneurship Magazine ranked Marist's general management and operations management programs among the top in the country.
