With an emphasis in the liberal arts and in-depth coursework in each concentration, the Marketing concentration provides a well-rounded curriculum focused on your interests. Along with the courses for the Business Administration major, you’ll also dive deep into the world of marketing by taking:

“At my internship with the Miami Dolphins, I worked on and presented a three-year, multistage plan based on bringing e-sports—an untapped demographic—to the stadium. It was very nerve-wracking for me and the other interns to present our ideas directly to the stadium executives. But it was a great experience.”

Where Theory Meets Practice

The Marist educational experience creates a unique balance of theory and application. By incorporating coursework with hands-on experience in the field of marketing, students are well-prepared for entry-level positions in the industry. For example, students in Management Strategy, the Business capstone course, present their final reports directly to executives for the companies they’ve researched and reported on. And students in Marketing Strategy integrate their classwork with data analytics and financial analysis and spend their time making strategic decisions, analyzing their performance, and modifying their strategy.

This annual Career Trek trip to New York City connects students with employers, such as Citibank, UBS, Bloomberg, and JPMorgan Chase, and provides a direct link between current students and alumni working in the field.
