Meet the SNR39 Judges
Patrick Cupid
Patrick Cupid is a New York designer whose work combines the influences of the US with his experiences from traveling and working throughout Europe. His formal education is divided between F.I.T. and Parsons's prestigious schools in New York and the Politecnico di Milano. He has been designing clothes since he was a child and focuses on elegant womenswear with striking color combinations. Over the last ten years, Patrick has been working between the States and Europe as a consultant designer and visual stylist, carefully compiling a design vocabulary uniquely his own. Syllable by syllable building his own language that has roots as much in the deep cultural wealth of Europe as the rhythmic speed and seduction of New York, his hometown and base.
Barry Jordan
Barry Jordan is an accomplished designer who is currently serving as the Vice President of Men’s Design at Ralph Lauren. With over two decades at Ralph Lauren alongside work at Giorgio Armani and DAKS, Barry Jordan has a strong background in fashion design and product development. He has worked with these brands to create innovative, high-quality garments that balance craftsmanship and contemporary style. His keen understanding of fit, construction, and market trends has made him a trusted industry professional. Originally from the UK and now based in upstate New York, he brings a global perspective to his work, drawing inspiration from both British tailoring traditions and American style. Barry continues to shape the future of menswear with his dedication to excellence and innovation.
Michael Jones
Michael Jones is an accomplished and well-regarded Design Executive with a solid track record of success through creative leadership, strong business acumen and highly effective team building with notable success at Global Brands Group, Li & Fung Americas, JC Penney and Liz Claiborne, Inc. He has designed and managed products in the branded wholesale arena, private label arena, and the DTC arena.
Michael has held several Senior Design roles which has allowed him to work with various well-regarded names in the fashion industry such as, Amazon, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Costco, Sam’s Club, Saks Off 5th and many others. He was honored to spend four years in Hong Kong as part of an expat program for Liz Claiborne, Inc. Michael obtained his B.F.A. in Fashion Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York, NY. He currently resides in New York City.
Shawn Reddy
Shawn Reddy is currently the Senior Designer of Women’s Design at Club Monaco. A graduate of Parsons The New School for Design, Shawn has cultivated a design philosophy centered on purity, integrity, and performance. Appointed in April of 2023 as the Head of Women's Design at Club Monaco, Shawn has been instrumental in revitalizing the brand’s commitment to high quality and minimalist designs. Some of his other careers include a notable tenure as Design Director at Derek Lam where he elevated their contemporary line. With a personal style that blends pared-down classics with technical innovation, Shawn continues to influence how women dress for work and beyond, embodying his vision of modern, functional elegance.
Francesca Liberatore
After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2007, Francesca Liberatore’s career immediately took off. She began working for a few of the world’s most renowned design houses, including Victor & Rolf — Amsterdam, Jean Paul Gaultier — Paris and Brioni woman. In 2009, Liberatore released her self-named label, which won her Italy’s famed Next Generation competition. Leading the brand as Creative Director, her work became an instant hit. She has shown her designs around the world in some of the greatest cities and participated in projects including Moulin Rouge Paris, Saga Furs, Swarovski and Nafa. In 2014, she was awarded the prestigious DHL Exported Award, which allowed her to permanently show her collections at New York Fashion Week. Liberatore decided to share her expertise and advice by becoming a senior lecturer in a few of the top fashion and design programs in the world, including Marist, sharing her passion with the next generation of fashion professionals.
Luke Hall
Luke Hall is currently serving as the Vice President of Design at Ann Taylor Factory & Loft Outlet (ANN INC). With over five years of experience working across various product categories, he has been integral to the brand’s unprecedented growth. Luke studied fashion design at the University of the Arts in London and went on to design his own line. He later became head designer at Sinclair 10. Known for his exceptional design skills, creativity, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Luke is both a passionate leader and a collaborative team player. His dedication to business success and his ability to inspire those around him make him a key asset in the fashion industry.
Julia Luff
Working as a Textile and Concept Designer at Free People, Julia Luff’s work leads fabric innovation and seasonal concept development with a focus on woven and knit textiles, jacquards, and sweaters. Julia has an incredibly accomplished education, having studied at Marist University, MOD’SPE Paris, The Textile Arts Center and Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work combines traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, utilizing tools like NedGraphics, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI to push creative boundaries.
