In this episode of Shifting Perspectives, SNR 39 Student Communications Director Blythe Weninger is joined by fashion designer Francesca Liberatore. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, Francesca launched her career in 2007 and quickly made her mark at fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor&Rolf, and Brioni.

Throughout this conversation, Francesca reflects on her global career journey, from working in European fashion capitals, to teaching in the United States. Now, as the creative director of her namesake label, Francesca Liberatore, she shares her perspective on what it takes to thrive in the ever-changing fashion industry, along with meaningful advice for students hoping to make their mark.

Guest: Juneve Porciello

In this episode, SNR 39 Student Communications Director Blythe Weninger chats with Juneve Porciello, a Marist Fashion alumna and Digital Talent Coordinator at Christian Dior Couture.

Juneve graduated from Marist in 2021 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and has since built a career in luxury fashion, with roles at Oscar de la Renta, Versace, and now Christian Dior Couture.

In this episode, SNR39 Student Communications Director, Blythe Weninger, is joined by Beth Chapman, an expert in the bridal fashion. 

A 1992 graduate of UCONN with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Beth went on to found The White Dress by the shore, a boutique known for its curated bridal styling services. She later created The White Dress Society, a community for bridal stylists to connect, share advice, and grow through workshops and retreats.

A 2007 graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Retail Management and Consumer Studies, Lindsay began her career at Jones Apparel Group and has since held roles at Nine West Group, Li & Fung USA, SIGNAL BRANDS, Compass, and now Rebecca Minkoff where she works as the Senior Director of Product Development.
