Business Administration Graduate Admissions and Application Information

Gaining acceptance into Marist's highly competitive Master of Business Administration program depends on a variety of factors, including undergraduate academic performance, professional work experience, GMAT or GRE scores, and an application essay. Critical qualifications of successful MBA applicants include the desire to excel in a challenging academic environment and the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment.

New classes begin every August and January. Applications are accepted year round with a fall deadline of August 1 and a spring deadline of December 1.

All documents, with the exception of official college transcripts, can be submitted electronically through the following link https://maristgraduate.slideroom.com/

All applicants to the MBA program must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. An official score report on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required. Information regarding the GMAT test and testing sites may be found at www.mba.com. Applicants who already hold a masters degree or above are exempt from the GMAT or GRE.

Students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better may take up to two foundation courses in one semester as a non-matriculated candidate. All requirements for matriculation must be satisfied upon completion of the non-matriculated semester. Admission as a non-matriculated student does not guarantee full admission to the MBA program as a matriculated, degree-seeking candidate.

Candidates are contacted with an admissions determination in writing and receive a detailed plan of study. Decisions regarding course waivers are determined by the MBA Program Director at the time of application. Candidates wishing to apply for transfer credit from another graduate program must submit all official transcripts and appropriate course descriptions at the time of application.
