Marist College verifies information submitted on the FAFSA for all freshmen students selected for verification by the Department Of Education.

Important Announcement! Per the Department of Education, the IRS Data Retrieval Tool is available for use when completing a 2022-2023 FAFSA. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will allow the filed 2020 federal tax return data to be uploaded directly to the FAFSA. If you haven't already done so, we strongly encourage you to use this tool as it is the fastest, most secure way to provide verified tax information.

If you will not use or are not able to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool, the Office of Student Financial Services will require copies of the Federal Tax Return Transcripts.

Verification of Student Files:
The myMarist site will enable you to verify requirements and missing information and complete all necessary documentation listed under "Financial Aid Requirements" (this process requires a student's Marist account).
