Adult & Returning Students: Military and Veterans
Marist participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program and also offers a 25% tuition discount to eligible students.
Military & Veteran Students at Marist College
Our campus is home to many who served on Active Duty or in the Reserves of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard, and they are here to help make your transition easier. For many, it’s a transition from the infantry to philosophy, from deserts to classrooms, in a very short amount of time. We are here to help you every step of the way.
We participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program and we also offer a 25% discount for Veterans, Active Duty personnel, employees working on U.S. military bases, their spouse, and their adult dependents (at least 22 years old at the time of acceptance). This discount is calculated based on tuition costs only, and it applies only to non-discounted programs.
As an adult student, you will find many bachelor degree options at Marist that suit your needs:
- 100% online degree completion program in Professional Studies
- full-time classes during the day in our traditional majors
- generous transfer, prior-learning, and life-experience credit
- tuition benefits that also apply to Marist's highly regarded graduate programs
Students can use our online course equivalency database to check course-to-course equivalencies as determined by Marist College. This database is for informational purposes only. Please note this is an unofficial resource and we encourage you to reach out to our office at admission@marist.edu should you have further questions or concerns.
We look forward to seeing you on campus! If you have any questions about your military benefits or our programs, please reach out to us via email at admission@marist.edu or call 845-575-3226.
