Welcome to the FoxDen Podcast
The FoxDen podcast is a joint production of Marist University’s School of Computer Science and Mathematics and Sentricus, a leading Cybersecurity Company focused on Education. Hosted by Dr. Casimer DeCusatis, Director of Cybersecurity Education in the Department of Computing Technology, and Phaelan Koock from PyxCloud, the FoxDen cybersecurity podcast will provide lively discussion and timely information about cybersecurity topics.
Episode 1 | Risk - To Boldly Do Cybersecurity
In this debut episode, Dr. Casimer DeCusatis and his student researcher, Rian, will interview Scott Tumner from New Era Technologies, a Sentricus Partner, about why risk assessment is fundamental; how AI and quantum computing are forcing us to rethink cybersecurity, and Scott's personal connection to Star Trek.
Episode 2 | The Liquid Cloud
In episode 2, "The Liquid Cloud," Dr. Casimer DeCusatis, along with featured guest speaker Phaelan Koock representing PyxCloud, discusses how to avoid being locked into a single cloud service provider by designing architecture, security, and operations to be portable and provider-agnostic.

Hear a Marist alum and local Hudson Valley resident describe their journey from helping build the Internet of Things lab at Marist to consulting with a series of Fortune 500 companies and helping them leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence.
