IMC Internships

Are internships offered through the IMC program?

Graduate students who are enrolled in the 100% online Integrated Marketing Communication program are able to take advantage of internship opportunities that enhance IMC curriculum and courses. Advisors assist students in securing internships and work experience with industry professionals in New York City and surrounding areas. The Marist College Integrated Marketing Communication alumni network can also provide exceptional career advancement opportunities to propel student's careers upon graduation.

IMC students can be exposed to the integrated marketing communication industry through internship positions in social media, marketing, advertising, branding and more. IMC internship positions will allow students to develop analytical skills, writing and design techniques.

Although the Integrated Marketing Communication graduate degree program does not require an internship, it is strongly encouraged for those changing careers or with limited professional experience. Students will be given the opportunity to apply the skills they are taught in the classroom to real-world situations in real time. Student internships can even turn into part time and full-time positions within the company.

Internships can be focused on a student's area of interest and/ or concentration such as; advertising management, public relations, social media, marketing research, marketing foundations, brand management, marketing analytics tools, global consumer insights and more.
