About Our Club
Club Women's Volleyball strives to provide an opportunity for interested women to continue competitive play in college while balancing the college experience. The club holds practices three times a week, including a scheduled team lift session each week in our Marist Division 1 weight room. The club assists students in developing leadership and athletic skills while promoting volleyball at Marist and providing a fun team atmosphere. Marist Club Women's Volleyball is a member of the NWVCL Central Division, and is competitive in both semesters, participating in about 4 tournaments each semester and nationals in the spring. The club team holds lots of social events and team bonding activities to create lifelong friendships and promote a cohesive and positive team environment.
Executive Board Members:
President: Dreama Manganiello ’26
- Dreama is the senior president of the club and she is from Saugerties, NY. Dreama is a middle hitter who has been a part of the team since it started in 2023. Dreama is a mathematics Major in the 5-year Master's in Secondary Education Program with a certification in Special Education. She is now the senior captain as well.
Vice-President: Rachel Zirt ‘27
- Rachel is a junior from Rock Hill, NY, and is the vice president of the team. She is majoring in Applied Mathematics on a finance/actuarial track with minors in Data Science and Analytics and Business. Rachel is a defense specialist and a libero for the team, leading the defense in digs.
Treasurer: Megan Ball ‘26
- Megan Ball is the teams senior treasurer from Feeding Hills, Massachusetts. She is a Business Administration major with a dual concentration in International Business and Finance with a minor in economics. This is Megan's third year on the team as an outside hitter.
Secretary: Angelina Hassel ’27
- Angelina Hassel is the clubs secretary. She is currently a junior majoring in psychology with a concentration in cognitive science studies. Angelina has played for the team as a libero, defensive specialist, and outside hitter from Wantagh, New York.
Join the team
Marist’s Club Women’s Volleyball team is happy to hold competitive tryouts for the team each year. Candidates are judged on athleticism, experience, sportsmanship, and ability to work well with others. Everyone is more than welcome to sign up for tryouts on the Instagram page.

Meeting Times
The club practices three times per week in the McCann Center's Recreation Gym with one day of team lift in the Varsity Weight Room. Tournaments occur three to four times each semester during the weekend, where the team travels to various colleges and universities in the Northeast.
Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities
To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.
To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.
To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
