About Our Organization

The Marist chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi operates primarily as a student service and leadership recognition society whose chief aim is to serve the band. Our goals are to provide the band with organized and concentrated service activities and to give our membership valid and wholesome experiences in organization, leadership, and social contacts. In addition, our group assists the Director of Bands in developing the leadership and enthusiasm that is required of the band. The honorary nature of membership is based on our premise that it is an honor to be selected to serve the band, its department of music, its sponsoring institution, and the cause of band music at colleges and universities nationwide.

Club Leadership

President: Anthony Lalonde

• Coordinates internal and external communication within/for the chapter
• Coordinates board and general chapter meetings

Vice President of Membership: Thomas Weston

• Interacts with and teaches new members.

Vice President of Service: Abigail Auxter

• Creates and maintains relationships within the univeristy band and the community.
• Organizes service events

Secretary: Aidan Lambrech

• Takes attendance for the chapter at functions and meetings. 
• Contacts alumni for any upcoming Music Department events.

Treasurer/Co-Musicianship Chair: Max Debin

• Manages the funds of the fraternity, and any money-related relationships between the fraternity.  
• An organizer of chapter's musicianship events.

Historian: Liam McHugh

• Creates records and saves contents of events and documents membership lines.
• Maintains the history of the chapter.

PR Chair/Co-Musicianship Chair: Leizl Carlo

• Oversees all social media and promotional aspects of the chapter.
• An organizer of chapter's musicianship events.

Brotherhood Chair/Co-Musicianship Chair: Amanda Gorrin

• Organizer of internal social events of the chapter and ensuring good relations of the brotherhood.
• An organizer of chapter's musicianship events.

Meeting Times

General meetings occur on Sundays at 11:00am in SC3204, and the executive board meets on Sundays at 10:30am in SC3204.

Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities

To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.

To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.

To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.

Additional Priority Point Criteria, specific to Kappa Kappa Psi:

All brothers are required to attend all meetings and events. Brothers earn up to 2 service priority points per semester and officers earn up to 3.
