Desi Student Association
About Our Club
The Desi Student Organization strives to create a welcoming and inclusive space on campus where all students feel safe, respected, and comfortable. Our mission is to foster understanding and appreciation of Desi culture, religion, and values by providing educational opportunities, cultural events, and social gatherings. We aim to promote dialogue and awareness, encourage cultural exchange, and break down misconceptions. The club supports the personal and spiritual growth of its members while building a strong
community that celebrates diversity and inclusion. Through workshops, celebrations of holidays, community service, and open forums, the Desi Student Organization serves as a resource for both Desi and non-Desi students to engage meaningfully with culture and faith. We welcome students of all backgrounds to join us in fostering respect, knowledge, and friendship within the Marist University community.
