About Our Club

The Club Women's Basketball Team at Marist is a competitive and inclusive student-run organization dedicated to promoting teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Our team provides female students with the opportunity to continue playing the game they love while balancing academics and all aspects of college life.

We compete against teams in the NCBBA New England-West where we face strong competition throughout the year while continuing to grow and develop as a program. Throughout the fall and spring semesters we face Rutgers, Hofstra, Adelphi, Sacred Heart, Montclair, Fairfield, and Iona. Our schedule includes regular practices, league play, and competitive games, allowing players to stay active and engaged both on and off the court.

Beyond basketball, our team emphasizes building a tight community where players form lasting friendships, travel together, and represent Marist with pride. We welcome athletes of all experience levels and encourage a competitive mindset while fostering a fun, supportive, and empowering environment for everyone involved.
