About Our Club
Our society represents and embraces traditional Italian culture while welcoming individuals of all cultures and backgrounds, regardless of their Italian heritage. As a society at Marist University, we embody the morals and ethics of the Marist community, with Italian culture serving as the foundation that brings us together. We strive to diversify Marist University by celebrating and sharing the strong presence of Italian culture on campus, while also giving back to the community through charitable work and service. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can learn about, appreciate, and participate in Italian culture.
Executive Board Members:
President: Massimo Corrick
- Oversee club planning
- Assign priority points
- Work with outside organizations
- Manage club roles and responsibilities
Secretary: Alexandra Ramos
- Send all email communicaitons about club events
- Create and send Google Forms to club members when needed
- Makes sure people are taking attendance through Marist Groups
Treasurer: Nick Caputo
- Make and manage the club budget for all events and programming
Event Coordinator: Shayla Sullivan
- Responsible for room reservation for each meeting and event
- In charge of all event materials
Social Media: Thomas Esposito
- Create event posts for club accounts
- Take photos and videos at events
Meeting Times
Wednesdays/Fridays (Around 9pm). Follow the club on Instagram to stay up to date.
Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities
To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.
To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities, PLUS the community service event.
To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities, including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
