 About Our Club 

Marist Club Softball is a new addition to Marist's Club Sport program. The Fall 2026 semester will be the clubs first active semester and, in it's inaugural semester, the club is aiming to create a competitive environment while and perform at the highest level they can. On the field, Club Softball is a part of the NCSA Division II Central. Our conference opponents are Sacred Heart, New Haven, Fairfield, Quinnipiac, and Yale. The club is also prioritizing community involvement by creating various fundraisers that engage the Marist community. 

 

Executive Board Members: 

President: Nicole Mazzallo

  • Nicole Mazzallo, the club's freshman president and co-founder of the Marist Club Softball team, is from Long Island, New York, and is majoring in Elementary/Special Education. 

Vice President: Kayleigh LaPointe

  • Kayleigh LaPointe, the club's freshman vice-president and co-founder of the Marist Club Softball team, is from Staten Island, New York, and is majoring in communication with a concentration in sports communication.

Treasurer: Kelly Guiliano

  • Kelly Guiliano, the club's sophomore treasurer, is from Staten Island, New York, and is majoring in finance and minoring in accounting.

Secretary:  Olivia Callahan

  • Olivia Callahan, the club's sophomore secretary, is from Tenafly, New Jersey, and is majoring in business administration with a minor in applied artificial intelligence

Join the Team

Marist Club Softball aims to have a fun, inclusive community with a goal of improving our performance on the field, and creating a winning culture. The clubs goal is to play at a standard comparable to NCAA Division III Softball. For future players who are looking to improve their skills, contribute to the team, and play the game they love, please email us at womenssoftball.club@marist.edu with any questions or concerns. 

Meeting Times

The Marist Club Softball team practices 2-3 days per week, with practices occurring in the McCann Center Turf Room for batting and bullpen sessions, and at the Softball Field.

Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities

To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.

To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.

To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
